Throughout the game, survivors may collect better items and gain experience to help them kill more zombies and accomplish their mission. NEW WEAPONS AND SCENARIOS: Flaming Sword and the Vampire Crossbow will make dealing with a village of infected wolves a little more manageable. The village of Wulfsburg has a number of towers the players can retreat to, allowing them to shoot ranged weapons from relative safety. In the game, each player controls from one (for 6 players) to four (solo game) "survivors", human beings in a zombie-infested town. In fact, "survivors" hastily change to "hunters" to smash zombies through and through. However, the team must keep the balance between survival and slaughter: as the zombicide's going on, the "danger level" is going up and infected are growing in numbers. [2] Gameplay [ edit ] The biggest change in the rulebook is the addition of altitude rules. This means that your characters can now run up nearby towers and buildings, and lets them shoot flaming arrows down onto the zombies/Deadites in the streets. A simple and subtle change, but you don’t have to be an old hand at skirmish gaming to realise what sort of opportunities this can throw up in a game. Before the beginning of the game, a mission is chosen. The playing area is built with board tiles and features (icons representing cars, doors and objectives) according to the selected mission. Each players chooses one or more survivors to play and everyone places their survivors on the starting area of the board.
