Welcome to The Driftwood Surfer Hostel in El Paredon! We're thrilled to have you as our guest. At Driftwood, we have a 2-night reservation minimum, so you can truly enjoy all that we have to offer. Our goal is to provide you with an amazing stay and an unforgettable experience. Amandari, whose name means “Peaceful Soul”, is an effusively tranquil place where clean lines and natural materials blend effortlessly into the natural environment. The resort is dotted with Aman’s classic open-air pavilions and is home to 30 suites in stand-alone thatched huts, along with a spacious villa featuring three bedrooms and a two-tiered private swimming pool. Is that watermelon piece the first lego food item actually smaller at minifigure scale than the food item it represents?

The beach itself is a nice design with its curvy snadbanks and waves breaking against the shore. A similar technique appeared in 41692 earlier this year, and it's a delight to see it reused here — although I think that set's discrete color coding (Dark Azure for the deeper water, Medium Azure for the curved slopes, and Aqua for the "seafoam" quarter circle tiles) was a little more effective than the colors of the water in this set. The arrangement of the quarter-circle tiles into a row of identical semicircles also bugs me a bit, but that's easy to modify even without any additional pieces. At our beachfront hostel, you can choose from our air-conditioned dorms or private rooms. We have a stunning beachfront pool bar and a panoramic rooftop restaurant that serves delicious international and local cuisine, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. It's not an overly fancy build, but it does have enough space for four minidolls.

The Driftwood Surfer is more than just a place to stay - we are committed to conservation and community projects. We organize a daily baby turtle release during the season, with The Driftwood Surfer conservation project. In addition, we offer the cheapest surf lessons in town, surfboard rentals, and other activities such as kayak and SUP, turtle and salt farm tours, and pool and ping pong tables.
