At times her love for her pet surpasses the love for her ‘ghost’ father, which is sad but made sense because her pet was the only thing around real enough to merit her emotional investment (until Flynn arrives).
I had hoped my venture into the fae world would be rollicking, but unfortunately, it left me feeling sad that I didn’t get even half of it.

The blurb seemed so intriguing and the way it was marketed made it seem like a perfect read for any fantasy/fae book lovers but it wasn't the case.
Of course, I found myself most interested when it came to the topic of the robots, especially considering the situation with Frost's father. The film stars David Thewlis (from Mike Leigh’s Naked), Irene Jacob ( The Double Life of Veronique), Michael Imperioli ( The Sopranos), and Sophie Auster ( Lulu on the Bridge), and joins Paul Auster’s other much-loved works of cinema, such as Smoke and Blue in the Face. Ava, a common fae living among humans, goes through a terrible heartache after she catches her human boyfriend cheating on her. As he’s rushed to hospital, Detective Inspector Jack Frost and the Denton police force start their hunt for the would-be murderer.I am so excited to see where this story is going especially with those final few plot twists that was revealed towards the end! I liked the tournaments, but I wished there was one that showed something that required using your brain and not just your brawns.
