About this deal

Clearly, the device has some smarts to it that prevent onerous situations that might ruin its internals. Every so often, Tineco suggests you should rinse the soft roller and the entire waste bin assembly, and allow these components to completely dry before using it again.

I let my Tineco charge overnight to ensure it was all juiced up for when it was time to clean my floors again. At their core, the Tineco, Shark and Bissell wet-dry vacs combine the tiresome task of vacuuming and mopping into one do-it-all multitasker. You can fill it with a cleaning solution that is a mixture of clean water and the Tineco cleaning solution, which comes with both cleaners. Firstly, the carpets contain fibers that sometimes break down and get entangled with the brush roller, resulting in device blockage. This may seem like a small feature but the effort of cleaning your floors is greatly reduced by this nice touch.Though it’s an investment, my Tineco iFloor 3 review proves it’s one of the hardest-working (and most affordable vacuum-mops) on the market. One major advantage is the presence of the LED display that communicates important information related to cleaning modes, battery charge, full DWT, empty CWT, roller blockage, etc. I had to wipe off the bottom mid-clean to prevent clogging, but the Tineco certainly accomplished the assignment much quicker than I would have on my own.

Fill the solution tank, switch on the machine, recline it to not more than 142°, and just move forward and backward to clean the floor. I turned on the max water flow button just to see what the machine could really do (and because I knew my floors were disgusting). Sadly, if you don't finish in that time, charging will take 4-5 hours before you can finish the floor cleaning chores. A slow, back-and-forth motion makes all the difference in knowing every last bit is vacuumed and mopped.I mean, no one wants a dirty tank of water sitting in their house until the vacmop’s next use—gross!

My initial Tineco iFloor 3 review made me a believer in the wet-dry vac system, but the true test is seeing how it performs on heavy-duty messes like spilled cereal milk. The two are very similar, both have an exclusive animated display, the same accessory kit, and three cleaning models. The unit comes with an ultra-concentrated cleaning solution that uses just a capful of solution for a tank of clean water. Although this difference plays a less vital role in selecting between these two, we thought of explaining why it is so. It has a soft roller brush, much like you find on other brands, and it does a fantastic job in picking up the littlest crumbs.

The floor gets clean in a pass or two (slow third pass for dry sticky stuff), and the dirty water, that YOU CAN SEE, gets dumped down the drain. Obviously battery life could be longer for some of us with larger homes, but Tineco has you covered with other offerings in their lineup.

I could also see that I had used up the entire cleaning solution, so the run time seems to line up with the amount of liquid available for that run. My elderly mother says this is the perfect floor cleaner for her as it exactly meets her needs for a lightweight and easy to handle device given her mild arthritis pain in her hands. iFloor 3 series models come with docking stations that can do many things: base for charging, tray for accessories, and storage. The iFloor 3 needs about 4 hours to fully charge from zero, while the Breeze Complete model takes roughly 4.The self-cleaning function of the vacuum was designed to cut down the time it takes to clean the machine after use. Both iFloor 3 series models come with industry-standard lithium-ion batteries, known for their extended lifespan compared to other types of batteries.
