But some of the dialogue was a bit weird, it seemed overly proper and stilted, and every character talked exactly the same. creepy and scary as fuck little 'Charlotte' dolls, Ouija boards, eye removing, ghosts, hauntings, and an EVIL sibling that will make you have nightmares.

I found that the mystery aspect really added a lot to the story and made it more engaging and gripping. Those are what the girls at the school played with and well strange things started to happen; spoilers (strange occurrences that these dolls were there plastered against a wall long time ago. I believe this is the scene that would stick in most people’s memory due to the huge plot twist that is shown during the scene. I could almost imagine this book being played out as a movie, one with a lot of silence and creep-up-on-you scenes.One time i got scared of my own reflection in the mirror… I made my twin sleep in my room for a few nights!

We get the story from one of the characters in the book but it is made more eerie by the quotes at the story of each chapter which are spooky enough to give one a chill.You might be expecting me to say at least a few more bad points about this book but I honestly haven’t been able to find any. And I was particularly revolted by the fact that Bell has them whole, dismembered, worn as jewellery and heaven knows what else.
