About this deal

If you look at them, you will see that the Pro 2 2500 has a large rubber grip that runs down the front of the handle, which the Pro 3 – 3500 does not have. The Oral B Pro 2 2500 N provides floss-like clean teeth and healthy gums. The 3D cleaning action helps remove teeth plaque and to be germ-free. Aside from this the two brushes feel the same in hand, weigh the same and have the same warranty, they both come with a charging stand and 1 brush head in the box. Pro 2 2000 vs Pro 3 3000 Unlike the Pro 2 2000, it does not have a large rubber grip that runs down the middle of the brush handle. Whilst this does make the Pro 1000 a little easier to wipe and keep clean, it does mean the Pro 2 feels a little more secure in the hand.

Lasting up to 16 days or 66 minutes in our testing, that is an extra 4 days or 16 minutes of usage time. Smart 6 6000 vs Genius 9000 For the majority of people, myself included the Oral-B Pro 3 3500 is the toothbrush to go for. It offers a balance of cleaning performance and features at a price most will find affordable.

1) Features: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500

Both do a job and give a home to brush heads, but the 9000 is a neater and more desirable solution. It is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, compact, and travel-friendly. It has gum pressure control to remind you if you go above the gentle brushing routines. The differences between the brush heads are explained in our ultimate Oral-B brush head guide, if you would like to know more. The 16-degree angle allows you to clean easily between the depths of the teeth. It is compatible with all Oral B toothbrush heads like 3D white, floss action, precision clean, and others. It comes in multiple colors to choose from. Ultimately, all of the brushes will provide a very good clean to the teeth and gums if used correctly.

In the sections below we compare Oral-B brushes that are close to each other in price and features. Model by model comparison Pro 600 vs Pro 2 2000 The Smart 5 5000 comes supplied with a more suitable holder too. It sits on a work surface rather than needing to be attached to a wall. It is our opinion is smarter and less unsightly. You just need to pop your phone in it, which takes a couple of seconds compared to the tens of seconds with the genius brush configuration. You phone then sits in portrait or landscape orientation and shows the on-screen timer. The whitening of the teeth and using an electric toothbrush for that is complicated. There are many different scenarios and lifestyle conditions to consider. The Pro 3 3500 has 3 cleaning modes (Daily Clean, Sensitive & Whitening) compared to the 2 modes (Daily Clean & Sensitive) of the Pro 2 2500. Put these two brushes side by side and the differences between them are much harder to tell, they look almost identical, however there are some subtle differences.

JOKE OF THE DAY

Putting this to shame is the 9000’s travel case which is heavier, bulkier but much more premium to look at and touch. It also has the ability to charge the brush in the case, by connecting the provided charging cable. If this is not enough, a USB cable can be connected to the case and charge a device like a smartphone. It weighs in at 130g with toothbrush head so it is quite light and definitely will not take up too much of your luggage space. The size including brush head is 23 cm x 2.5cm x 3cm. 5) Value For Money It is designed this way to mimic their top of the line iO Series and does away with the large rubber grip on the front of the handle that you find on the 2500. Oral B Pro 2 2500 N with its bristle protection technology helps inhibit microbial growth for up to three months. The additional advantage is that it notifies you to brush all the corners of your mouth. Hopefully, this gives you a good overview of where various brushes fit in in terms of price and features, but if not please leave a comment or question.

The Oral-B Pro 3000 is the most expensive however it has one more cleaning mode, another brush head refill and a better charging station. This represents the best value for money. If you do not have sensitive teeth, the Oral-B Pro 2000 comes in a close second. The Oral-B Pro 2500 running in third. Summary: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500 The Pro 2 2000 offers 9,900 oscillations and 45,000 pulsations compared to the 8,800 and 20,000 of the Pro 1000. It features Ultra-thin bristles, 16-degree bristle angle, and unique polishing cups to give you shiny teeth. They are designed to perfectly fit any standard Oral B toothbrush. It has a pressure controller to protect your gums while brushing.

What I mean by this, there is no evidence that I know of that suggests the Genius 9000 is technically better at cleaning the plaque away than the Pro 2 2500 and therefore make it worth the investment. Even if you do need 2 brush handles, the 2500 can be a more attractive option, because if you buy 2 of the 2500 models you will get 2 charging stands and 2 travel cases compared to only a single charging stand with the 2900.
