The new Osram Night Breaker Laser has a pure Xenon gas filling. The pure Xenon filling allows the Laser to produce a much brighter and whiter light than the Unlimited with its Xenon halogen mixture. Also, I have upgraded a Porsche 911 (997) using D2S’s from Nightbreaker (HID Xenon) to Nightbreaker Unlimited (HID Xenon) and I noticed no difference whatsoever. I would go so far as to suggest that the name of the HID Xenon range was changed to parallel their Xenon range, but they did not improve the HID Xenon’s.

The margin might have been even wider because both bulbs topped the 200 metres we could measure in the distance tests. For HID, this is the standout performer. Osram Nightbreakers: I fitted these a few months ago and they have transformed my night driving. On main beam they are about the same as my old bulbs (which were fine). But on today’s crowded roads I spend most of my time on dip, and the Osram’s have radically improved things. I can see so much further.Secondly, the lights are in my car installed and are great. And it seems the first set was not installed properly due to a mechanical error, and powerbulbs made a Great effort to send me a replacement Fast and all I can say is Im very happy. The lights are bright and spread. At times I can't distinguish if I'm driving on high beam or low beam, since these are very powerful lights. I have these installed on low beam and they are great!
