About this deal

If you have decided on a gingerbread heart or another shape, the personal design is particularly quick and easy. Ingredients: Wheat flour, apple fruit filling 23% (sugar, apple purée, glucose-fructose syrup, lemon juice concentrate, gelling agent: pectin; natural flavours), chocolate 22% (cacao mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: lecithins), caramelised sugar syrup (glucose syrup, sugar), sugar, raising agents: sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium carbonate, ammonium bicarbonate; wheat gluten, butter, spices (contain cinnamon), acid: lactic acid. As the dough it very sticky, I would recommend using a non-stick baking mat, or roll out the directly on the baking parchment.

Now add in the gingerbread spice, baking powder (affiliate link), cocoa powder and egg to the honey mixture . Glucose Fructose Syrup, Wheat Flour, Sugar, Apricot Puree, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Caramel Sugar Syrup, Gelling Agent: Pectins, Acid: Citric Acid, Natural Flavour, Raising Agents: Potassium Carbonate, Diphosphates, Sodium Carbonates, Acidity Regulator: Potassium Citrate, Skimmed Milk Powder, Sweet Whey Powder (Milk), Spices (contains Cinnamon), Pure Butterfat (Milk), Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, Salt. Bake in the centre of the oven for about 12 minutes until slightly golden and firm to the touch, but not browned or hard. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. They use traditional recipes with modern production facilities to ensure quality and consistency of flavour. Gingerbread hearts with apricot fruit filling (28%), coated with milk chocolate (23%) and dark chocolate decoration (3%). Presented in decorative tins and boxes, their gingerbread and Lebkuchen make wonderful gifts for friends and family. I also like to add a little unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa as this gives the Lebkuchenherzen a lovely dark colour and rich shine.

This also means they are sturdier than normal gingerbread, though if you’d like them softer you can bake them for 5 minutes less, either way, they are perfectly edible, and if you aren’t keeping them for posterity it would be a shame to waste all those lovely ingredients. Lebkuchen has a long history in Germany dating back as far as the 13th century, when it was being baked by monks in the (now Bavarian) region of Franconia. Share the love or savorr these delightful creations on your own—because Lambertz Lebkuchen is a taste of Christmas joy in every bite. Roll over them again so that they become slightly larger and thinner (as they need to be domed over the jam).

Melt the butter and honey in a saucepan over a low heat for a few minutes, stirring until the butter has melted and is incorporated into the honey.
