Margaret (Maggie) Fraser Myles, née Findlay, (December 1892 - February 1988) [1] was a Scottish midwife, midwifery tutor and lecturer and author. The new thirteenth edition of this multi-authored textbook of midwifery practice has been restructured by its two editors, Ruth Bennett and Linda Brown, who have brought in an excellent team of contributors.

This edition has been revised by new editors Diane Fraser and Maggie Cooper who are regarded as being at the forefront of the profession.
