About this deal

I can be The Ogre chasing everyone home to the treasure, we can all be giant monsters trying to conquer Tokyo, and now we can all pretend we’re treasure hunters, fighting ghosts together in a spooky mansion. A welcome new addition in this expansion are the Secret Passage tiles which are added to rooms A, F, G and K.

This is nice in a kids’ game, as a “good run” can be enough to turn the tide for less experienced gamers. For my final thoughts, to start off, if you have kids and you don’t have Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters yet you should fix that mistake as soon as possible. It is a very challenging game for us, and has become one of our go-to cooperative games (along with Samurai Spirit). The ghostly theme fits perfectly, even more so than the other firemen game, which I find a bit tedious. In our opinion, Ghost Fighting Treasure Hunters is the perfect gateway game for kids, (and heck, maybe some adults too, you never know. As a premise this is simply a roll and move game which sees you traversing the house to retrieve gems and to prevent the ghosts from building up and forming together to create more imposing enemies that takes cooperation with another player to beat. In the basic game, the players take on the role of Treasure Hunters, trying to explore a haunted house to find the 8 Jewel Tokens before the house is over run by the ghosts. If you eventually find the main campaign to be too easy and you regularly make a clean getaway with all of the treasure, there are challenge cards to make the game harder.

You get a nice mounted board, great looking miniatures, pre-punched tokens and excellent quality cards that will stand up to many plays. And it ages well, we played it with a group of boys ranging from 1st to 7th grade and they all loved it.

Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters is a great example of a game that does this and the Creepy Celler Expansion manages to make this fantastic game even more interesting and engaging. The only negative points is that the ghosts had to glow in the dark and even diversify them, although the worst thing about the game is itself: its lack of availability in the current market, both of the base game and its expansion. Turns play out similar to the original game with players rolling the ghost/movement die, drawing a ghost card if indicated on the die (on the 1-5 faces), doing what the card says, then moving their kid.Meanwhile, my daughter Grace and I were able to beat Creepy Cellar on Nightmare mode within our first handful of plays.

The most common type of card gives the letter of one of the rooms in the mansion, including the two new rooms in the cellar. Lord Ras may be defeated by NINJAGO Kai on his all-terrain motorcycle equipped with golden rammers as. You also get twelve new Cursed Treasure tokens which replace the original eight Treasure Tokens from the base game. This is a game that I’ve brought out to public play game night (for grown-ups) and have greatly enjoyed just playing with my regular game group.Ideal para introducir a la familia (niños de 6 años incluidos) a juegos más complejos que los típicos de turno, fácil de aprender, el modo difícil es todo un reto hasta para el más experto en la materia. As their ghoulish numbers grow, the treasure hunters must work together to acquire all eight jewels and escape the house before it becomes fully haunted or else face their own gruesome demise. All players work as a team to escape from the house with all 8 Treasure Jewels before 6 of the rooms become haunted. Either the treasure hunters get all of the treasure out of the mansion in time and you all win, or six rooms become haunted first and the treasure hunters are doomed! These tiles indicate a connection between the room they are in and all other rooms with Secret Passage Tiles.
