About this deal

There are frequently spoilers in the character bios in the beginning of each volume. I got spoiled for the identity of the Big Bad in the beginning of a volume before the reveal actually happened in the story. Not a deal-breaker for me, but something to look out for if you are sensitive to spoilers. Chapter 148 → I always thought Hide was dead (although I've seen spoilers of him being alive) I guess I just never thought he'd be the 'scarecrow ghoul'. Plus, how the hell did Akira and Amon already know about him? La struttura di questo volume, con il passato dei fratelli Kirishima (assieme erano carinissimi da piccolini

And what was all that about the clowns right at the end?! I thought Uta and Itori were on Kaneki's side but it seems to me that they want him to suffer even more than he already has done!!! As it's already vol. 14, I'm not going to give any specific details. Just my gushings and ramblings. I cannot emphasise how much I love how Kaneki's selflessness in protecting others was actually inherently selfish. Like Touka pointed out in grief: "In the end, it's all about you." But the truth is his metamorphosis did save the people he loved. To quote Kaneki's old self when speaking to his new self: "You fought in the place of the weak me. I'm not angry at all. Thank you for all you've done." I actually really like Kaneki's development as a character, although I wished he had lost more of his naivety. It was an interesting portrayal of someone struggling with being caught between two worlds, as well as what trauma can do to someone.Chapter 150 → ◙ This chapter... my heart is so warm... Finally, all the people I like fighting on the same side. (except for Furuta. But if I remember correctly, I decided to stop liking him a while ago. I didn't.)

Is Mr Yoshimura dead? I know he's a test subject for the CCG now but does that mean he is dead? Hmmm...The art is really stellar and is a must to really get the effect of the dragon on the city. I am totally confused about who many of the characters are working on what to do. They weren’t familiar to me. However we get a big battle over the dragon between Ken’s new wife and the “boy” who wanted to be with Ken. That really made up for the character confusion earlier. I will say that this series does have a few really great scenes or areas of interest that just happen off screen - which annoyed me. There were moments that were skipped by that I would've LOVED to see drawn out. Things start to seem too good to be true when the shy and socially awkward bookworm Kaneki scores a date with the girl of his dreams, a beautiful, mature and intelligent young woman named Rize. Not only is Rize completely out of Kaneki’s league, but she also happens to share his infatuation with complex horror literature and philosophy. Things seem to be going unusually well for Kaneki, but it turns out that his lovely date is only interested in his body—eating his body, to be more specific. (And not in the hot kinky way either.) Kaneki became this huge ass monster and I’m just trying to understand the motives behind it. I mean, yes, him being a menace makes the CCG investigators work together with the ghouls, but is just like Shuu said: “am I the only one who wants to see him happy?”. Sigh. Guess we are.

Ken Kaneki is an average college student - albeit a bit bookish and quiet. His best friend, Hide, is the closest person he has to family. Tokyo Ghoul is completed and consists of 14 tankōbon volumes released between February 17, 2012 and October 17, 2014. [5] [6] Viz Media released the English version from June 16, 2015 to August 15, 2017. [7] [8] Tokyo Ghoul is also being translated into German and French, respectively by Kazé Manga [9] and Glénat. [10] From the beginning till the end "the world is cruel" is stated many times and there are several incidents which proved this. The story in itself started out simple and as it grew so does it complexity, and coming to the artwork, i was flabbergasted, it is just pure pleasure to the eyes, although sometimes it becomes too abstract to understand what is going on, but one could clearly see how Sui Ishida became better and better with each volume, with the final volume containing some of the best pieces of art i have ever seen in any manga, i'm a hardcore fan of Berserk and Vagabond, so i generally don't expect much in terms of art, but Tokyo Ghoul proved me wrong.

In December 2016, a Tokyo Ghoul:re novel series written by Shin Towada and illustrated by Sui Ishida began publication by Shueisha in JUMP j-BOOKS weekly magazine. [4] No. Parasyte, Shingeki no Kyojin

Kaneki is more of a savage now that he beat the shit out of Jason and accepted his ghoul-ness. Reading the fight with him and Touka's brother was... Quite an experience. What happened to Dr. Kanou and the Aogiri Tree? Why were they experimenting on humans? Are they still experimenting on humans and ghouls?I read a story that was rich and complicated, extremely creepy and gory, breath-taking, perfect for Halloween, heart-stopping and extremely fast-pacing. I read a story about a boy who thought he could protect anyone, and about a world where the definitions of human and monster were blurry and unclear.
