What are our dowels used for?
Smaller wooden dowels are perfect for cake dowels, wedding ribbon wands, dowel joints, school projects and arrow dowelling. Diameters available include 6mm, 5/16", 11/32", 9.5mm (3/8"), 12mm (1/2"), 15mm, 18mm, 19mm (3/4"),20mm, 21mm, 7/8", 25mm (1"), 30mm, 35mm, 1 1/2", 45mm, 50mm (2"), 60mm and 76mm (3") Manufactured using premium quality oak which is a strong timber and ideal for when the wood may be visible Dowel Pins are designed for use as highly precise locating and positioning devices. These components are generally inserted into reamed holes and used as reference points for other parts in an assembly. The use of metal Dowel Pins can significantly decrease misalignment of components. Our range of Stainless Steel Dowel Pins in A4 and A1 Stainless are machined to very tight tolerances, and are often used to provide precise alignment in a wide variety of engineering applications.
