About this deal

For other songs, I selectively boosted just the bits of the song where Green was singing, adjusting it line by line. This set is unique among shows from this era as it not only contains some of the incendiary jamming they had been developing over the course of the past year but also features the group digging deep into their esteemed back catalogue, performing several rarely heard classics with the formidable twin axes of Peter Green and Danny Kirwan. Over the course of 1969 and 1970, their live performances would reach stratospheric heights as the group began exploring music outside the traditional blues format. But I found a concert poster for the band playing at the Fillmore East in November 1969 that I liked a lot.

Two, in the past couple of days, I've gotten interested in collecting the live recordings from the first Farm Aid concert, in 1985, and posting them here. Following the release of their breakout smash hit eponymous LP in July of 1975, Fleetwood Mac performed a historic live show at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ. Before the title to say “Dead Dust Blues” from Hiwatt, in the sound source, which has been released, it has been recorded is “Tiger” of the second day was unreleased. That allows for a more normal listening experience, since extreme stereo separation has long been out of favor, after some experimentation with it in the late 1960s, when stereo first became widely popular.

In this era, the band pretty much always closed with covers of lively and famous rock songs, like "Twist and Shout" or "Tiger. Also said the decision version of this time, is a set of three appeared to have a very good content.

As he did with the Carousel Ballroom recording, once I had made the adjustments to the stereo channels, MZ reduced the amount of stereo separation by about 30 percent, just as he did for the Carousel Ballroom show. Our resources are crucial for knowledge lovers everywhere—so if you find all these bits and bytes useful, please pitch in. I also did what I usually do to concert recordings, which is putting the between song banter on their own tracks and increasing the volume to make those parts easier to hear. The release also inexplicably claimed it was a mystery which concerts these recordings were from, even though bootlegs of the shows have widely circulated for decades. So when you listen to this show, keep in mind that the band and most of the audience was tripping on LSD!
