Doing three or more of these will lead to Sigurd leaving for Norway but if you have only done one or two, you’ll be fine and he’ll stay in the settlement with you for good. I was waiting more because the elements of the story are strong, well-rounded, characters were also well-developed, strong and writing was solid.After The End is about their experience as parents before and after this decision and in the years following two potential, and differently imagined outcomes. Clare Mackintosh gave me hope and some closure to my own regrets, decisions, judgements made towards me and my mistakes as a parent leaving me with some peace with it all. Working through their son's illness and processing the situation differently, they are confronted to make a decision about Dillan's life at a crossroad, they end up disagreeing about the future care of their son. It’s obvious she’s intimately familiar with the subject matter and the first half of the book is powerful and deeply resonates. While it initially seemed like Eivor was just dreaming of Asgard and Jotunheim after drinking Valka’s potions, the truth is a little more convoluted. The teaser confirmed that Louise Lombard and Stephen Moyer were back as Hardin's parents Trish Daniels and Christian Vance, and the full trailer added some additional names for the finale.It also didn’t help that the second half tackles the what if of both choices and becomes somewhat repetitive. The fifth movie will pick up from this open ending and we imagine it'll see Tessa and Hardin get back together (eventually), building up to the finale of the book where they live happily ever after.
