About this deal

The show’s pilot episode sets up each protagonist’s characters and their clashing dynamic while also establishing the fantasy setting that is bound to introduce much magic to the plotline in the future. SPOILERS AHEAD! In a new apartment, a young man discovers a summoning circle and makes a deal with a demon. His immortal soul may be lost, but he receives new physical...tools and abilities. Sunny stream tomorrow on Discord and Leslie sketch Tuesday, new poll Wednesday, and the first Teaser art will be up on Thursday all on substar - full week ahead, I hope y'all have a great one! In the midst of such characters, Do-hee, who refuses to partake in their childish internal power struggles, remains Ju’s favorite. Thus, Do-hee has no choice but to comply with the older woman’s wishes and agree to a blind date. Yet, the woman has no intention to allow the ordeal to take up more time of her day than necessary and intends to only stay for a courteous 30 minutes no matter how handsome, if arrogant, her date turns out to be. The Blind Date And The Chaos That Follows I started the week completing the rough art for Leslie's content, then plugging all of that and all of her animations in and getting everything timed out and working properly. The last few days have been chugging along through her art, which is turning out nicely but there was no way I was getting +100 images done in half a week even on a good week, which is not the week I had!

In “The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror IV”, Homer sells his soul to Satan Flanders for a donut. Once he gets to Hell, Satan attempts to punish him by stuffing him with donuts. Rather than being horrified, Homer is delighted. Clearly the devil underestimated Homer’s appetite. Chances are that the devil isn’t going to offer you any breakfast pastries, though. Maybe you should develop an appetite for sulfur and brimstone now.

Unhappy with his lot in life as an archdeacon in the church, Theophilus decided to explore his options as a free agent. He hired a necromancer to summon the devil, who offered Theophilus a position as a bishop in the church in exchange for his soul. Theophilus signed a contract in blood and was promoted shortly thereafter. Apparently Theophilus looked at his chances as a mole in God’s operation and decided they weren’t so good. He took the contract to another bishop and asked for his help. The bishop ripped up the contract and Theophilus died on the spot … supposedly out of joy to have gotten out of the deal, but it’s not like he’s around to ask. When a young man is moving into a new apartment, he comes across a conjuring circle. A young man offers to trade his eternal soul for new physical abilities in exchange for the circle's blessings. Thus, the duo ends up falling down the cliff into the water. While drowning, Goo-won passes out, but Do-hee tries to swim to the surface. Yet, she can’t find it in herself to leave the man behind, even if it meant endangering her life. Part of the reason behind her motives stems from the demon’s unique name, which translates to “salvation.” Therefore, she holds his hand underwater, and the act somehow transfers his demon mark, a cross tattoo, onto Do-hee’s hand. The next morning, when the pair ends up washed ashore, Goo-won realizes his powers have switched allegiance to Do-hee, sending his life down an unexpected spiral. The author's writing style is engaging, and their ability to craft a unique storyline shines through. The initial chapters successfully establish the foundation for a gripping narrative, leaving readers eager to unravel the mysteries that lie ahead. The exploration of Calla's missing memories and the intertwining of various plot threads is skillfully executed, ensuring a sense of intrigue throughout the book. You’d think that at this point just about everyone would know that a contract with Satan isn’t going to work out the way they want it to, but people keep doing it. Sure, there are exceptions to the rules (John Constantine, I’m looking at you), but chances are that anyone that enters into a bargain with the Great Beast is going to be ruined in the end.

This game has great potential, but there are still a lot of problems to work out, and there isn't much playable content at the moment. Due to the short days and the vastness of the globe, I believe that the author went a little too far with the "30 ladies in 30 days" rule. As a result of the author's overzealousness, this rule prevents players from fully immersing themselves in the game and simply enjoying it. It is hoped that the author will make some corrections. Following the development of a game might be of interest to you.

Expert Advice: There’s no way you’re getting a square deal out of the devil, and you’re going to Hell anyway. You might as well try to pull one over on him. I loved this Paranormal Fantasy Romance which ended happily and has me looking forward to reading the next book in the series. The thing I love, I mean absolutely ADORE about reviewing for the various blogs that I do is this: finding NEW authors and watching them smash it out the park with their first book. I really enjoyed this lovely book. It’s set in a medieval-esque world filled with magic, witches, gargoyles, demons, fallen angels, magical animals and so much more. It honestly reminded me of the NBC miniseries from 2000, The 10th Kingdom (the best miniseries ever) in some spots. Probably because I’ve recently watched it and love it so much.

The romance between Calla and Rylan unfolds at a deliberate pace, characterized by a simmering tension and intense emotional connection. Their relationship is beautifully portrayed, with both characters undergoing personal growth and overcoming obstacles that threaten their bond. The author's depiction of their love is both tender and passionate, providing moments that will undoubtedly tug at the heartstrings.

Success!

This book is different from what I usually go for and I tend to stay away from books about witch’s. As it’s not really my vibe but I enjoyed the demon and witch element in this book. The Author is a very good writer that can’t be disputed. She made me feel a lot of emotions from grinning like an idiot to level 100 rage ready to throw my kindle across the room and watch it smash into a million pieces. There is magic here, and a demon who is sweetest thing, until crossed and Cross feels just how much Rylan feels for Calla, even if at that point they weren't sure themselves. There is a plot that went in a direction I really didn't see coming at me, and I loved that! The undisputed master of the Delta Blues is rumored to have met the devil at the crossroads to bargain for his soul. Johnson got his wish and became a famous bluesman, but died at only 27 years of age. The exact location of Johnson’s crossroads is unknown, although some people suggest the intersection of US 61 and US 49 in Clarksdale, MS. That’s as good a place to begin your search as any. If you don’t find the devil, there’s still a good chance you’ll find God: Morgan Freeman is a Clarksdale native, and is not infrequently spotted hanging out at his Ground Zero Blues Club. The seeds have been planted and with a little nurturing what soon grows from them will be a wonderfully written, intrigue rich, perfectly crafted world as one discovers who and what she really is and Rylan’s secrets about himself are revealed to surely test their growing bond. Revolutionary War hero Brigadier General Jonathan Moulton took trolling to an epic level when he sold his soul for an agreement that the devil would fill his boots with gold every day. Unafraid to try the father of lies at his own game, Moulton cut the soles out of his boots and placed them on the top of his chimney. After Old Scratch came along to fill up Moulton’s boots and found that he couldn’t, he burned Moulton’s house down.

Despite the game's excellent presentation and story, plus its flawless pace and progression, there is an embarrassingly insufficient amount of content. In spite of this, there is a lot of potential here. Expert Advice: Whether you’re getting in or getting out of a deal with the devil, it’s good to have a professional at your side. You might have a hard time finding a necromancer these days, but there’s always Craigslist.

I loved that Calla challenges Rylan, on every level, but she doesn't fear him nor his true self. She is a curious soul, who Rylan matches with his knowledge. And even though the description says there is a guaranteed happily ever after I still had my worries about the fate of our cinnamon roll heroine and her demon prince. Of course, the author managed to wrap that up perfectly as well. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series! So, to sum up: some smexy times, some dark and deadly times, some dangerous times for Calla, some emotional times, some surprising times and lots and lots of fun times! Expert Advice: Even if you don’t make a deal with the devil, you might as well let people think you did. It’s obviously good publicity if we’re still talking about it nearly 2 centuries later. Just clear everything up with your priest, first.
