Notes of musk and gardenia blend with a heart of rose and jasmine, rounded off with a base of sandalwood. It's very floral and perhaps old-fashioned, but the notes seem to combine to form a scent like warm skin or breath. Nina Ricci also produces a range of bathing soaps and moisturisers, including the L'Air du Temps collection.

My Sweet Auntie, who just passed away almost 3 weeks ago, wore this as her signature scent--along with Prince Matchabelli's Wind Song. Because of the 'white' coloring and the soapiness plus florals, this is also very similar to Estee Lauder White Linen.Very short lived in either edt or edp but I couldn’t imagine something so sublime being strident, heavy or suffocating everyone around you. Smells like a baby powdery musk-like scent from another era, but also doesn't give a super mature smell.

Recently I purchased a vintage EDT splash style bottle of this, and I’m so happy that the notes have held up very well. This spicy carnation may be a bit oppressive and at times headache inducing to younger wearers, so beware. That said the other florals share equal time, an iris that's surprisingly robust and earthy, a lovely red rose and jasmine combination, a powdery hint of violet, all working together and adding little tweaks here and there. In the heart the sweetness of majestic floral centifolia rose, blends with the caressing warmth of sensual Grasse jasmine and aphrodisiacal ylang ylang for an elegant and refined floral bouquet.
