The Logitech M185 is a standard, all-purpose mouse with wireless functionality. Its ambidextrous design suits it for both right and left-handed users. According to Logitech, the disposable battery should provide close to 1 year of use if you shut the mouse off each time you're finished working. A handy sleep mode also helps conserve power. To enable wireless functionality, the M185 is outfitted with robust 2.4 GHz connectivity and a tiny nano receiver. Simply insert this receiver into the USB port of your laptop or computer and you're ready to go thanks to Plug & Play technology. The receiver is small enough to be left in the computer after use if you like, then you won't need to worry about losing it or re-inserting it each time you use the mouse. No software installation is required. To determine which model of M185 mouse you have, please turn the mouse over and look at the bottom for the model number (M/N). There are five available models and the technical specifications for each are slightly different: Available in grey, red or blue, this mouse features a contoured shape that facilitates cradling, keeping you from straining your wrist. It is also quite small and light. In fact, a good portion of its weight seems to come from the included disposable alkaline battery. This gives the mouse enough drag to prevent slipping.
