About this deal

d] Brodie-Innes assumed command of the English and Scottish temples, while Mathers concentrated on building up his Ahathoor temple and extending his American connections.

Written anonymously and published posthumously, as was the author's wish, the intention of this work is for the reader to find a relationship with the author in the spiritual dimensions of existence. Some make sense (the Wheel of Fortune is the “Lord of the Forces of Life”) and others, not so much (the Emperor is the “Son of the Morning”**), but all are traditional Golden Dawn correspondences. I’ve found that the most informitave and true to fact and religion decks are the Rider-Waite deck, the Hermetic Tarot, the Golden Dawn Tarot, and the Thoth Tarot. Many present-day concepts of ritual and magic that are at the centre of contemporary traditions, such as Wicca [1] and Thelema, were inspired by the Golden Dawn, which became one of the largest single influences on 20th-century Western occultism. Founded in 1888, the Golden Dawn lasted a mere twelve years before it was shattered by personal conflicts. How many anonymous folks out there are suffering from “vaccine” damage in silence with zero acknowledgement, sympathy or compensation from Pfizer, CNN, NBC, FOX, Biden, Trump, Fauci or Gates and certainly no press due to “vaccine hesitancy”. The author had clear sight, and he shared his understanding in a series of essays on the symbolism used in the Marseilles Tarot.

It’s deeply rewarding, and beautifully drawn, but it is not for the faint of heart, and I cannot emphasize that fact enough. I'm not a scholar in these matters this is just my take on it) Anyway I am neither Catholic nor to I practice Hermeticism but something about this book facinates me. The symbolism of the cards is taken as a springboard for discussing and describing various aspects of Christian spiritual life and growth. Admittedly she is a very acute and perceptive person, she is also extremely gullible in some matters. The anonymous author—who insisted that his French original be published posthumously—delivers his perceived insight and transcendent guidance from beyond the grave, in a manner of speaking, via epistolic essays on the twenty-two Major Arcana of the Tarot.Major arcana containing alchemic and kabbalistic references, plus tonnes of minor fine details that you can keep watching them with a magnifying glass and go WOW! This is one of the few decks that offers two male and two female images in the Court card, in keeping with the balanced view of reality offered by the Tree of Life model. Nevertheless, I would say that the Hermetic Tarot is the favourite GD deck which I have in my possession – ranking ahead of the Robert Wang version. Dense and difficult—the more so as I entered the book woefully uninformed about Catholic and Christian Hermetic ritual and terminology—but also endlessly fascinating and edifying, especially in the recondite and convincing manner with which scientific, psychological, and anthropological phenomena are reconciled with the spiritual revelation of Christ.
